It contributes to strengthening the institutional capacity to respond to emergencies and contingencies, through the coordination of the Comprehensive Security and Safety System, aimed at complying with applicable regulations; as well as supporting the logistical supervision of the use and services of the spaces of the General Rectorate, by seeking to safeguard life and physical integrity, both of the university community and of the institution's assets.

Biographical Note

Bachelor of Computer Science and Master of Education from the Technological University.

Coordinator of C4 at the Autonomous Metropolitan University.

Institutional representative of the National Safety Council.

Member of the National Consultative Committee for Standardization on Safety and Disaster Prevention.

Institutional Representative of the Council for Comprehensive Risk Management and Civil Protection of Mexico City.

Member of the Institutional Pandemic Supervision and Surveillance Committee.

Advisor on UAM Institutional Systems.

Purpose

Strengthening the institutional capacities of preparation, action and response for the attention of emergencies, through the coordination of the Comprehensive System of Security, Risk Management and Safety, oriented to the fulfillment of the applicable regulations, for the safeguarding of the members of the University Community, the institutional heritage and the environment; as well as managing the Logistics of the use and services of the General Rectorate university meeting spaces.

Assignment

Managing the Internal Safety Plan and chairing the Internal Safety Committee, structures that comply with the General Law on Safety, as well as other applicable local safety laws and regulations, based on the philosophy of university values, Honesty, Wisdom, Responsibility, Respect, Justice and Equity, Universality.

Perspective

To be the emergency and contingency care area, prepared, updated, trained, equipped, and informed, which allows us to reduce vulnerability and strengthen the culture of safety and comprehensive risk management.
